Our Commitment to Your Children
Lawson Montessori Preschool caters to the nurturing and development of 3-5 years of age. We operate Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Our mission is to provide quality childcare, that will nurture the whole child, physically, socially, and emotionally. We encourage independence and respect for ourselves and others.
Recognizing the need for each child to reach his/her potential at a rate suitable for his/her ability, will be the cornerstone on which our service will be based. This will be achieved through the following: provide a prepared environment to encourage children to learn in a way that is appropriate to their age, stage of development and ability. All children are kept physically safe from harm, and we also ensure they feel safe and secure emotionally.
The children cover an extensive curriculum which includes: learning their colors, shapes, numbers, letters, days of week, months of the year, seasons, poems, practical life skills, math, language, culture, and sensorial work.

It has been a dream of mine to open a Montessori School for a long time. My love of all things Montessori was sparked as a young child when my mother opened her Montessori school.
I look forward to meeting you and your children. It is a great privilege to teach and watch the children grow and develop. I love my work and my heart continues to grow and develop as I help each child reach their full potential.
I am happily married to Dermot, and we have two wonderful children.

I’ve had a love for children from a young age. This became very evident when I started volunteering in summer camps at the age of ten. My love for children evolved into a career of teaching children as a nanny, and it continues as I pursue the Montessori dream. I encourage children to open their wings, and then I teach them how to fly!
I’m happily married to Josh and we have two beautiful young children.
