Kids Take Over the Boards at the Blades game! We had an amazing opportunity of decorating some of the boards at the Blades game for Park Town Hotel. We had so much fun at the game Go Blades Go. Here are some of the children and friends who came out to cheer at the game!
Every year Santa comes to Lawson Montessori Preschool and shares some special gifts with the class.
All the children love him and the amazing Christmas party.

Gwen gave us a wonderful presentation on good oral health.
The children really enjoyed brushing the BIG teeth she brought with her.
Pilot Lisa taught us all about flying. We learned how to use proper commands so we were able to communicate with the Saskatoon tower.
The children took great delight in using the headsets to talk to the tower, while taxi-ing their airplanes down the runway.
Yasaman gave a great talk on the importance of money, how we earn it, save, spend and give. It was a great lesson, the children all received their own money to budget.
Deairra had a captivated audience as she told an important story, showing why its important not to lie! The children just loved this fun story telling demonstration
Bethany gave such a fun talk all about cosmetology. We learnt how to take care of ourselves and how to apply makeup. The children loved applying the make up to their face model charts.
Kevin gave a great talk about solar energy. It was so much fun and the children got really into this lesson. Each child placed a solar panel on the roof of the sun. We called on Mr Sun to energize the panels and the light inside our house turned on!
Dermot gave a fun educational presentation on carpentry. We learnt all about the different types of wood, the importance of safety at work. The children got to try on some safety equipment and had so much fun hammering nails into the wood.
St Patrick’s Day was complete with a huge party and a traditional Irish marching band with a parade.
This is also our occupations month – parents have the opportunity to come in and teach the children all about their occupations. To date, we have had a Carpenter, Solar Energy Specialist, Cosmetologist, Storyteller, and an Accountant.
It is very exciting to watch the joy and pride on each child’s face when their parents come to school. We have been extremely impressed by the parents’ lessons; they put a lot of thought and love into making their presentations very special.
Chelsea shared an important lesson about healthy eating.
We learned that there are “everyday” foods and “sometimes” foods!
Kashmira taught the children about Bollywood dance!
They were fascinated by her graceful movements and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the class.
